REDUCED - Offered here is what we believe is an unmarked Simson Rework P-08 Luger with Capture Papers. Caliber of the Luger is 9 M/M and the serial number is 3840. Serial numbers matching throughout except for the magazine. Manufacture date 1930's ?. Barrel length is 4" and overall length is approx.8 1/2". Checkered walnut grips (in great condition ). Bore is excellent and action is very good as well. Shows approx. 90% blue and approx. 60% straw color. The eagle and other proof markings as well as various other markings are as shown in the pictures. We believe this luger matches the information and photo of the Unmarked Simson Rework shown in the book " Lugers at Random " by Charles Kenyon Jr - Reference page 241. However we have had others tell us they believe it may be a 1929 "Sneak". As we are not experts we want to include this information in the description as well.--- The capture papers are also included . They give permission to the veteran from his commander to bring this gun home from the war. Please see the pictures which will add to the description and show the markings. --- PLEASE NOTE : An FFL /C&R will be required prior to shipment. --- Standard 3 day inspection period.
