This is a nice collectible S&W 1917 chambered in 45 ACP. The barrel length is 5 1/2 inches long and the bluing is about 95-98&. There is some minor wear on the gun and all screws are in good shape. The bore is in great shape and this functions smoothly. The grips are in good shape as well with minor wear. The bottom of the barrel does say "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". There is a stamp just next to the hammer on the metal that is a "C" inside of a flaming bomb.
