It is a 12ga.with a 30 inch ventilated rib barrels with half barrel bead and front sights. Both barrels are marked with one star indicating Full chokes on both and barrel markings state it will accept 2 ¾” shells. Serial number is 58526 which would make it 1957 production which is well before when "salt wood" was used. It has a 14 inch LOP to the Browning recoil pad which appears to be a replacement since the pad is slightly smaller than the stock. It locks up tight and is in overall excellent mechanical condition. Although the bluing appears to be original with very little loss there is some significant storage corrosion damage where shallow pitting exists in many small areas along the top of the rib and in some small areas on the left side of the barrels as seen in the photos. The wood does not have any cracks or other damage. Mechanically it appears to be excellent and could be a great addition for field and hunting applications especially for someone who required a somewhat shorter LOP.
