Colt 1862 Police/Pocket Navy .38rf Revolver, serial 44109. Nickel finish and old ivory grips. Complete, tight and mechanically very good. Made in 1871 as a cartridge revolver, not a conversion. Shows about 60% original nickel and mostly smooth patina. Some outside pitting at end of barrel. Numbers match, vg or better sharp bore with light pitting. Two-piece old ivory grips show repairs (see photo). Nearly all stagecoach cylinder scene. Nice sound example of a histoic gun with possible Western connection. From a Colorado collection.
