Up for auction is Smith & Wesson MOdel 66-2 in .357 Magnum Caliber. This gun was made in year 1985 for the 60th Anniversary of the Nassau County New York Police Department. Only 825 were made, this is issue number 792. It comes with commemorative velvet lined wood box as well as Smith & Wesson card board box, metal department badge, lapel pin plate and embroided Police Department Shoulder Patch This revolver is in excellent condition at least 98% with very minor handeling marks. it was shot rarely. It is wearing original wood grips, it has excellent, bright bore with strong riflings. Its action/mechanism is flawless and crisp with excellent timing and perfect lock-up.It has four inches of barrel. All stainless steel, solid, well made collectible gun from Smith & Wesson.
