Asa Waters Milbury Ms(Massachusetts) 1843 54cal smoothbore Flintlock.Martial marked with two cartouches on left side of stock,(W.A.T Capt. William Anderson Thornton) The other cartouche is not as clear possibly (JCS John C Stebbins S-I)?.The barrel is stamped U.S J 11 P.The metal has been cleaned up previously with some light pitting showing,Nice tight gun in good working condition.About 20,000 were made from 1837-43.$2495.00 plus shipping cost,add 3% for credit card purchase.Please call or e-mail us if you have any questions or need more pics,ask for John
