Here is a really neat small carry gun.
PISTOL: The gun is marked “LLAMA” ESPECIAL on the right of the slide, and marked Gabilondo y Cia – ELGOIBAR (Espania) & CAL. 7.65 (32) “LLAMA” in two lines on the left side of the slide. This gun does not have a model number marked. It is well made and has been reliable for me. The Boss & I have fired the gun maybe 100 rounds, but no round count was recorded. It was a carry gun for her, but she has moved up to a .380. I have carried the gun at those times where a full sized pistol would be inappropriate or unwelcome. The small frame Llamas look and operate just like traditional 1911 pistols. The .380’s are locked breach with the 1911 type link and pin, and the .32’s and .22’s are blow-back actions. This gun is a blow-back action. You can carry this gun in “Condition One” (i.e. cocked and locked), if you like just like your full size 1911 and operate it just the same way. I carried it that way. Later versions of the small Llamas had cheap-looking plastic grips with a finger groove. The grips on this gun are fully checkered wood. There’s even a little grain showing, but it’s hard to see in the photos. The pistol comes with NO box and one (1) 7-round magazine. Condition is Very Good to Excellent, depending on who’s doing the evaluation. Bluing coverage is 95+% with some shiny spots along the edges and other places where one would expect to see a little wear. There are a few other tiny imperfections, but I am offering this gun as a “user” not a “collector”.
HOLSTER: I am including a very well-made lined paddle holster from local craftsman, Danny Murph (Murph’s Leather, China Grove, NC). The holster will accommodate the small Llamas (of course) and also Colt Mustang and similar .380’s as well as (I believe) the new SIG 380’s (I haven’t tested it with the SIG’s.). The holster is VERY comfortable and suitable for all-day, every-day use. The lined holster retails for about $70.00.

For your consideration…A very nice Browning BT-99 single shot trap gun. This is a two barrel set, with a 32 inch Imp. Mod. Barrel and a 34 inch Full Barrel, and includes the original Browning hard case. This gun was manufactured in the late ‘70’s and purchased by me in the mid ‘90’s. I shot the gun regularly until two years ago, when other responsibilities curtailed the amount time that I had to shoot trap. The gun was professionally overhauled and refinished in 2006. The bluing has worn on the receiver and I had it refinished with a satin nickel finish instead of bluing. Interestingly, the nickel finish tightened the gun up to the point that I feels new again. Bluing on the barrels is original.
So…Why am I selling this gun if it is SO good? Simple. It has not been to the range in over two years and needs to go to someone who will enjoy it and let is see the light of day.
Please contact me if you have questions or would like to discuss this gun. I am in central North Carolina and you are welcome to inspect and shoot it.
