Beautiful hand engraving is done by master engraver Rudi Zimmerman. On the right side of the receiver there are 2 woodcocks with a dense, heavily shaded forest back ground and on the right are 2 rabbits in thick underbrush. Surrounding these scenes is beautiful, intricate, arabesque scroll engraving which extends to the trigger guard, extra long tang, operating lever and the forend latching hardware.

Breath taking, Luxus grade, European walnut is used for the straight English grip stock and the long forearm. Merkel's diamond pattern checkering covers the grip surfaces.
