GREAT ORIGINAL MUZZLE LOADER THAT RECENTLY SURFACED IN GEORGIA.A FRIEND OF MINE BOUGHT THIS AS JUST AN OLD SHOTGUN AND BROUGHT IT HOME AND FOUND THE MARKINGS WHEN CLEANING IT UP.IT IS STAMPED 'S.E.M.-15TH ARK.'THAT WOULD BE SAM MORRIS WHO WAS IN THE 15TH ARKANSAS INFANTRY, I HAVE HIS RECORDS.IT IS DEFINETLY AN ORIGINAL STAMP AND IS UNDER THE CHEEK PIECE. THE GUN IS A NICE DOUBLE BARREL WITH A 33 1/2" BARREL. IT IS AUSTRIAN MADE WITH A BOAR'S HEAD CARVED ON THE STOCK.IT HAS NICE GERMAN SILVER TRIM.HAMMERS WORK FINE.WOODEN RAMROD.NICE GUN THAT WAS DEFINETLY CIVIL WAR USED!
