Winchester Model 1894 (early) in 38-55 caliber 26” round barrel with a shinny bore, some light pitting, full length magazine tube. Barrel and magazine tube have approximately 80% blue, receiver and lever are mostly brown with traces of blue, finely checkered hammer spur, walnut butt stock with crescent steel butt plate, walnut forearm with steel cap. Stock/ fore arm appears to have original finish and shows average handling dents, dings and scratches but retains good finish. Overall everything appears original. There are several (up to ¼” long) indentations on right and left side of barrel just forward of the receiver (between the receiver and rear sight) and just above where the edge of the fore arm meets the barrel. No cracks or chips in stock or forearm SN# 4347XX, mfg. 1907.
