This listing offers the 96/22 in the photo or its identical mate. These were, to our understanding, discontinued in 2007, and both were among the final ones to roll off Ruger's assembly line. Note the similarities in design to the Marlin Lever-Matic Rifles of the 1950s and 1960s, great rifles as well. Each 96/22 comes with its own scope base and 9 round magazine. Barrel length is 18 1/2 inches, 6 groove 1:14 rifling; overall length is 37 1/2 inches; and weight is only 5 1/4 pounds empty. Safety is conventional button style cross bolt safety.
