This LC Smith Field Grade by Hunter Arms is in 95% NRA condition. It comes in 12 gauge with 28" barrels and 2 3/4" chambers. The barrels have a beautiful brown patina, no surprise for a gun this old and in this kind of condition and are made of "armor steel". The receiver has the best looking color case hardening I have ever seen I an old gun like this and it double triggers. It practically looks brand new. None of the screws have been boogered up, so I can say that this metal work has never been redone. The wood is in very good condition and all it would take is a little work with some steel wool. to make it look brand new. There is a couple of small dents in the forearm that are barely noticeable, you really have to look for them to find them, The stock is dent & scratch free and needs to be lightly steel wooled.
