There are some changes between it and the old original 6 Shot Revolvers, notably its 8 shot cylinder; and at long last this new KSP-242-8 has fully adjustable sights with green fiber optic tubed ramp front sight. As far as specs, type is traditional double and single action revolver with transfer bar internal safety mechanism; 4 inch heavy, but not full lug, barrel with 1:16 right hand rifling; solid stainless steel construction; .312 stainless cleated short spur hammer with matching smooth face combat trigger; black blade windage and elevation adjustable rear sight; black ramp and dovetailed front sight with fiber optic green insert; recessed or counterbored cylinder with 8 round capacity of .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle ammunition; weight empty 30.4 ounces with center of gravity 1/2 inch forward of the trigger. Grips are traditional soft rubber with distinctively checkered walnut panel inserts, Ruger Phoenix and traditional S&W pattern diamond style.
