Here is a specimen of Safariland’s Maximum Security Duty Holster, the 070 / 1298, also known as the SSIII. It is black basketweave, Safari-laminate body construction with suede-lined interior. It fits the S&W 5900 type and also most 4000 type metal frame pistols. Exterior surface wear is very light, and the suede lining inside shows moderate wear but all the lining is intact and the holster is eminently serviceable. Note that the finish is black basketweave. Replacement price on this holster is upwards of $150.00, and most Agencies that issue these holsters also furnish training for their use. Safariland will also furnish instructional information for any Department that requests it. Own this fine holster for only $ 49.95
