This tactical conversion starts with a NIB 12 gauge SAIGA model IZ-109 semi-automatic shotgun. The incredible reliability of this weapon, even in extreme conditions, is based on the proven AK47 design. Our master craftsmen convert this ultra-reliable semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun into a tactical weapon. We relocate the trigger guard next to the mag latch assembly, install a G2 customized trigger group (3.5 to 4 lb. trigger pull) and SAW military style pistol grip. We use premium GUN-KOTE™ metal coating & finish- simply the finest available! Specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003, GUN-KOTE™ is superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry finishes in both durability and performance. GUN-KOTE™ finish protects metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and thermal-cured, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to all known gun solvents, oils, acids, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized, hard, abrasion resistant coating that meets ALL military specifications for protective coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals".
