Description: Here is a serviceable, attractive specimen of the most indestructible rimfire rifle ever built, the Ruger 10/22. This is the traditional carbine variant, same basic configuration as the 1964 original, Mr. Bill Ruger’s design that reminds us all of the M1 carbine. Manufacturer has always been Sturm, Ruger & Company of Southport, CT. Type is blowback action semi-automatic rimfire rifle. Construction is steel barrel and internal parts housed in an alloy receiver, and with alloy trigger group housing. Barrel is 18 1/2 inch, 1:16 right hand twist six groove. Sights are brass tipped blade front, dovetailed into the welded muzzle collar, with folding leaf rear sight whose white diamond center black blade is elevation adjustable with set screws, and drift adjustable for windage within the dovetail. Receiver is drilled and tapped for the factory issue 3/8 inch adapter that permits grooved receiver type scope rings; or metal scope bases and rings, ranging from Redfield JR type steel to Ironsighter® see-through rings. Magazine is Ruger’s unique and reliable rotary 10 shot, with steel feed lip assembly and steel spring housed in a polymer cube shaped magazine. Chambering is for 10+1 rounds of .22 Long Rifle caliber ammunition, and note the extended magazine release that works well with readily available higher capacity magazines. Stock is one piece dark stained birch hardwood, with a barrel band forepiece and single action screw for easy disassembly. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches from the .370 smooth faced trigger to the concave center of the curved butt plate. Right hand shooter push button M1 type safety and the 3/4 inch right hand buttstock cant make this good little rifle unfriendly to southpaws. Weight empty with no scope is 5 pounds, with center of gravity at the breech face. Photo specimen with the 4x32 Japanese Tasco scope weighs in at 5 pounds 13 ounces with center of gravity at the bolt handle. This specimen is a local West Tennessee rifle from its exclusive owner. From its 125 prefix serial number, it was manufactured in 1984. Surface detractions are moderate, with edge whitening, faint freckling on the barrel surface, and scouring at places on the buttstock. We rate it as Very Good, 75 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. The scope is a period correct Tasco 4x32, with the words Made in Japan on its eyepiece bell. Model is 663A, and this is one of the last Japanese made Tasco 4x32s made before production switched to South Korea in the mid 1980s. Crosshair is Duplex type. Rings are Reagan Era Weaver 3/8 inch grooved receiver type, and they fit the factory Ruger adapter correctly. Scope tube, of course, is 1 inch; and the Weavers have steel tops secured by two screws apiece. Lens coatings are fully intact, and adjustment is excellent. This rifle’s bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate it has been fired between 2500 and 3000 rounds, enough to wear out a Marlin Model 60, but no rounds at all for a 10/22. We’re offering this Reagan Era Ruger 10/22 and its scope for only $ 239.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
