Often confused with the I and J frame guns, the 33 or earlier called the "Regulation Police" fell in between the I & J with no prefix affixed to the serial number until 1969 when it carried a R prefix. Very confusing when attempting to determine production date. Stocks do number to the gun. Metal retains 96-97 Original Blue with the only wear being the muzzle wear on the left hand side of barrel. We also have a spin mark on the cylinder. The grips have a dark mark on the right side just above the S&W Medallion. Gun has not been shot much. FFL required.
