Description: Here is an attractive specimen of the best ever .45 ACP Lightweight Compact, the smallest variant that Smith & Wesson ever produced of its tried-and-true 4500 series pistols. This is the CS45 .45 ACP Chief's Special. S&W sku is / was 103014. The CS-45 was launched in 1998 and continued in production until 2006, the year that it was lamentably discontinued, victim of the sea of plastic that gained a foothold in the mid 1980s, about the same time that Smith & Wesson entered the .45 ACP market with this one's distinguished ancestor, the Model 645. From this one’s EKY serial number prefix, and 8362 it was manufactured on December 27, 1998, First Year of Production. This pistol spent its career with the Madison County, Tennessee, Sheriff’s Department. Type is blowback or recoil operated, traditional double- and single-action semi automatic. From a resting hammer, the first shot is a long smooth double action motion, and the hammer stands for single action shooting after the first shot, until the operator puts the car in park by engaging the ambidextrous main safety, which also serves as a decocker. Construction is specially coated white alloy frame, with steel internal parts and black anodized furniture, including the .305 smooth faced combat trigger, and .260 bobbed hammer. It has a total of 3 safeties, adding a firing pin safety and magazine safety to the main one. Weight empty is less than 27 oz; barrel length is 3 inches; magazine capacity is 6 + 1; slide thickness is a very thin 1.02 inches; height with magazine inserted is only 5 inches; and overall length is only 6 5/8 inches from the muzzle to the grip frame strut. Note that this pistol comes with a total of One magazine, but magazines are still in production and readily available throughout the country. Sights are Novak type 3 dot combat, dovetailed front and rear. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, principally contact wear to the right edge of the trigger guard and frame above it. We rate this pistol as Very Good, close to Excellent, 85 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. From its condition and our knowledge of its exclusive owner, it has been fired fewer than 800 times for annual qualifications, no rounds at all for a CS45. It is in its original box with factory instruction manual, warranty statement, engraving brochure, and a never executed factory registration card. Note that the box hinges are missing, and that is common on the earlier blue plastic boxes. Replacement pricing on current production similar pistols from competitors Sig and Colt command prices upwards of $1200 apiece. We’re offering the Madison County CS45 in the photos, however, for only $ 619.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
