Metal surfaces retain about 99% plus excellent quality hot immersion blue and anodized finish. This is an absolutely lovely 22 revolver. The gun features near overall coverage in nice flowing scroll with background punchdot shading. There are gold inlays at muzzle, breech, on both cylinders and around the periphery of the frame, including a gold Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. The checkered hard rubber Federal Eagle and Rampant Colt grips rate excellent. The gun comes with both 22 LR and 22 Mag cylinders and is in its original wood-grain Styrofoam Colt insert "box" with remnants of the cardboard woodgrain Colt outer sleeve. The gun is signed by engraver Angelo Bee on the left side of the frame and comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by him. The gun is lovely and is un-turned since engraved.
