Bold foliate scroll engraving with dark shading begins with wedges on both barrels and continues to completely cover the receiver, trigger guard, extra long tang and the forearm latching hardware. This special reserve edition has a gold inlaid quail in flight on the left side and a grouse in flight on the right and also on the bottom. Specially selected, high contrast fully figured wood from the heart of an American walnut is used for the straight grip English stock and the matching beavertail forearm. Finepoint checkering is in a double diamond pattern with inserts on the forearm and covers the grip all the way up to a point by the operating lever.
