Another quality made double shotgun made by S. MORTIMER, of ENGLAND, with FINE LAMINATED STEEL barrels of 30" length, choked at MOD, and MOD. the bores have mild pits at the breech end, and is chambered for 2 3/4" shell, but black powder only should be used. Steel chisel engraving on the frame, trigger guard, and the lock plates. Functions very well, and the hand checkered English walnut stocks are very good. Has typical Birmingham proofs!
