This is the Classic Model with some custom changes to make it into a lightweight, but not super flyweight, rifle. Stock is a McMillan Remington 700 BDL style, LOP 14-1/4 in., gray color, w/ 1 in. decelerator pad. The Rem. M700 action has been lightened with bolt flutes, titanium firing pin,hexagonal aluminum bolt shroud,hollowing of bolt knob, keyway cut in bolt handle, and re-contouring of the receiver to remove some metal. All of this saves about 6 oz. Included are a set of 1 pc. lightweight scope rings/bases, with the rear ring/base machined to match the contour of the rear receiver ring. Barrell is a Lilja #4 SS, free floated and pillar bedded. 25 in. long. All metal has been black Teflon coated. The rifle, without scope, weighs 7 lbs. Used once.
