This listing is for ONE holster, Winning buyer will receive one of the holsters from the same grading batch that the photo specimens came from. Winning bidder may take any number of extras we have on hand, at the same per-holster price and with no additional shipping charges. All these G&G / Gould & Goodrich genuine leather holsters came with a substantial trade-in of Smith & Wesson Model 65 – 3 inch barrel revolvers from the North Carolina Department of Corrections in 2007. The Smith & Wesson factory number on the holster is #S&WH06. Gould & Goodrich factory designation, visible in the photos, is HZL 33. These are excellent quality, U.S. Made, genuine smooth black leather, right-hand low profile lined holsters made specifically for Smith & Wesson K-frame revolvers with 3 inch barrels and standard service or target hammers. They fit, however, a whole host of medium frame revolvers. Revolvers in the photos are not included in this listing, and we are not offering them for sale in this listing. The 3 inch NCDC Customized 65 round butt is a perfect fit; longer barreled revolvers like the 4 inch OH DRC model 64 will fit as well, with some barrel protrusion, as the photos show. Since these holsters are lined inside, they are excellent for blue steel guns and will not produce whitening like unlined holsters will. Note the open cutaway configuration that readily accommodates adjustable sight revolvers. These holsters work fine for 2 and 2 1/2 inch classics like the Smith & Wesson 10s and 19s; and they will accommodate L frame size or Ruger GP 100 size with some patience and stretching time, because the leather will stretch. Our photographer even carries his Charter Bulldog in one; leather will also shrink if it is carefully wetted, and his stainless Charter sat there with a wet thumb strap until the strap drew down. N frame size might be a bit too much of a stretch for these. We classify them as Very Good condition, with moderate amounts of scuffing and wrinkling on their surfaces, and stress pull on the two position belt slots. Photos included are specimens from the actual lot we have left, fewer than 100 out of an original 500 or so we got from the deal in 2007. Production dates on the parent revolvers were mostly 1980s and early 1990s, so these holsters are period correct for any revolver manufactured between the early 1970s and late 1990s, since collectability is an element in any of our items. Since the Models 13 and 65 are discontinued, holsters like these are not easy to find, and when a person finds a new holster of this quality, prices often approach $100 apiece.
