Ajax polymer grips have just the right combination of strength and flexibility to fit perfectly and survive well, even under steady diets of Magnum ammunition in K Frame Revolvers. Screw and escutcheon is solid brass, fully threaded, and extra long so that the grips will fit on any frame thickness, brass is very easy to work with. Here is Ajax’s number 18IP, perfect fits for Square Butt Grip Frame Smith & Wesson Revolvers in K or L frame, including models 10, 14, 15, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67, 581, 586, 681, and 686, manufactured from World War II until about 1995. They are period appropriate configured for any K Square Revolvers made from the 1940s until the mid 1990s. These grips will not fit any other revolvers besides a square butt K or L Frame Smith & Wesson. They Will Not Fit a Round Butt K or L, like the currently produced models 10, 64, 386, and 686. For any shoppers unfamiliar with round and square grip frame butts we have included a comparative photo. Manufacturer, of course, was Ajax Custom Grips of Dallas, Texas. These grips are old stock Texas production that we found in an old Southern warehouse; Ajax now makes its home in Seneca, Missouri. These grips have not been shown, installed, handled or even displayed until our photographer opened them. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept 67-1 whose grip frame shows in some of our photos is not includd, of course.
