Description: Winchester 1894 .38-55 takedown rifle. Serial 24509 indicates early 1895 production. Octagon barrel is 26-inches long and has a full-length magazine. Refinished forearm is cracked at bottom and along right side. Refinished butt stock has an ill-fitting plate added (current LOP of wood without plate is 13 inches). Receiver has two extra holes in left side. Metal finish is about 25% overall. Bore has some roughness and wear to rifling, but remains shootable. Price firm. Photo package by request.
