Description: HG5160 This listing is for one revolver, the exact one in the photos. FFLs and Law Enforcement Agencies, however, may take any number of very similar extras at the same per-gun price and with no additional shipping charges. Few of us will ever own a 1970s pinned heavy barrel Model 10 Smith & Wesson. This is that worthy Smith & Wesson’s Brazilian offspring, the Taurus Model 82, with heavy 4 inch barrel. With its 32 ounce weight, it is not a lightweight. Its superb balance and its heft, though, are precisely what makes it a manageable and effective handgun. Many, many people that we face across our counters have the grievously mistaken notion that a heavy handgun will kick and a light one won't. We try to tell them different, but they realize it full well when they fire the first shot from one of those little light guns. What is important, of course, with any firearm, is to be able to hit what you are aiming at. More basic than that, to be able to fire the weapon to begin with. Here is the simplest and one of the least dangerous firearms a person can own. It will, more nearly than anything else we can think of, fire when its operator means for it to fire, and won't fire unless the operator intends to fire. Like all double action revolvers, it has a transfer bar internal safety that prevents accidental firing if it is dropped. Construction is all steel, double or single action revolver, capacity 6 rounds of .38 Special standard or +P ammunition; 4 inch heavy barrel with matte barrel rib and frame top ; .400 serrated spur target hammer with matching smooth faced combat trigger; and lanyard device on the butt of the grip frame. This Taurus 82 is an overseas security agency, and Century Arms’s import stamp is on the frame, as required by U.S. Law. From its NH 900,000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1980 or 1981. Surface detractions are extensive, as the photos show, with extensive scouring and freckling on its surfaces. Bluing shows strength, however. We rate it as Good, 60 to 70 percent vicinity finishwise by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is mechanically sound; the cylinder shows 1 or 2mm of lateral play, but times correctly both in single and double action. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are clean and excellent. Own one of the best personal handgun values on the market today, and one of the most effective, the Taurus 4 inch blue model 82 in the photo for only $ 219.00. Not transferable to civilians in California, the District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. We’ll remove the lanyard and add a new set of factory Taurus Boot Grips for only $19.00, and you’ll have 2 sets of grips and your lanyard, too. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $15 lower 48; $40 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
