Photos show some of the few all German Factory magazines we've come across for the P-229 Pistol chambered in .40 S&W or, for that matter, .357 Sig Caliber. Manufacturer is Sig Sauer, so marked on the left side of the body, with Made in Germany on the right side of their bodies. Construction is dovetail fitted steel, matte finish blue. Cartridge follower and 1 configuration floorplate tailpiece are high impact black polymer. Capacity is 10 rounds of .357 Sig or .40 Smith & Wesson ammunition, and these magazines will digest both calibers as well as fit into pistols of both calibers. Note, as the photos show, there will be very faint insertion and ejection buffing visible on the body sides. That is because these are take-out magazines, taken out of brand new pistols that were in the Sig Arms Distribution system at the end of 2004, when a certain Federal Statute Expired. These magazines have not been loaded or fired since they left the factory in late 2003 or early 2004. All new Sig Pistols we have sold in the last few years have come with Italian Made Magazines, Excellent Magazines made by Mec-Gar for Sig. These, however, are classic and even collectable German made ones. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
