From a local estate sale a 1878 engraved Moore's 32 cal revolver with beaded holster and wooden, glass front, lockable display case. Native Americans were notorious for abuse and lack of maintance of their firearms however this pistol is in very good condition. The metal is aged and smooth, the front sight is a brass blade, the hammer cocks, the cylinder rotates and the trigger works. The wood grips are not cracked or chipped but do have lots of dents and dings (see photos). The card that came in the case states this is a 32 cal. rim fire however it is a 32 cal. "Moore's Teat Fire". At the sale they said the holster was made from brain tanned deer skin and is beaded with old beads in a Cheyenne indian pattern and has not damage. I am not a Indian artifact collector nor am I very knowledgeable about Indian artifacts. I have looked very closely at this item and it appears old and original to my untrained eye. The only infromation I could get from the estate was that it had been in the family for a long time. It is obvious that the gun is an original but since the only way I have of authenticating the holster is my own personal inspection I offer it with a 100% refund if it does not live up to your expectations return it for a full and speedy refund. Satisfaction guaranteed (see my feed back). No Reserve. We trade guns.Cashiers check or money order only. No FFL required. Shipping $25.00 plus insurance (optional). Missouri residents pay 7.7% sales tax where applicable. Three day inspection “No Questions Asked” return policy.
