LG1430 This Shotgun is Not C&R Eligible. From 100 feet away, some of us who are well into the bifocal club might mistake this shotgun for a Remington 3200. On closer inspection, however, this specimen represents one of the Chinese Manufacturer’s first efforts to market sporting field shotguns in the U.S. Market. We give them an A for strength of construction, but not such high marks on Aesthetics and fit and finish. This Norinco Over-and-Under Bears a CA 880000 range serial number, so we estimate it was manufactured in 1988. Manufacturer is marked on the side of the barrel, Made in China at Changkan Factory, no beating around the bush, or Bush. Chambering is for 2 3/4 inch only, 12 gauge shells, not intended for steel shot. Steel shot will burst the muzzles on full choke steel barrels like this one’s .697 diameter full top tube. Bottom tube is .707 Modified. Vent Rib is 8 post medium height, and a full Broadway Style .552 width. Barrel link is silver soldered blue steel. Type is Single Selective Trigger, Automatic Ejectors with Tang Safety, recoil transfer. Buttstock and forend are rough cut checkered American Walnut. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the face of the smooth trigger to the end of the 1 inch black recoil pad. Weight empty is 8 pounds, with center of gravity at the back of the forend. Surface detractions are only moderate, mainly a small sliver of wood off the upper left side of the forend. Metal shows faint inconspicuous freckling here and there, with light occasional scouring to the semi-gloss finish of the wood. We rate this Norinco 12 gauge as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our honorable shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This shotgun is solid and excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We’re offering this serviceable collectable Norinco, a momento of early Chinese Firearms Marketing in the US, for only $ 369.00.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $60 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground with full insurance coverage.
