Allin 2nd Model 1866 Conversion 50-70 cal Bore VG plus Mech VG Plus, Wood VG plus with cartouche, Has a 36 ½” Rd barrel with orig. sights , sling swivels, barrel bands and the ramrod appears correct. Metal overall has a dark aged finish with some fine pitting in areas nearly overall.The buttplate is very pitted. The bolt is marked 1866 with eagle head marking. The Lockplate is VG plus with 1863 date and US Springfield and eagle marking.
