U.S. Springfield model 1890 Trapdoor rifle, ramrod bayonet model, serial #527715. The ramrod bayonet model, first made in 1888, was the end of the line for the Springfield rifle and incorporates all of the improvements developed during nearly 20 years of production. Rifle retains approximately 50% of its original bluing and has a shiny bright bore. Case hardening on the trapdoor and action is still visible. The 1890 cartouche is still legible, although the wood has been mildly refinished. Thanks for your interest.

I will gladly email numerous photos to interested buyers.
