A Matched Pair of Percussion Officers Pistols with bullet traps and caps at the butt, and with ornate filagree on the barrels. The barrels are approximately 6 inches and the overall length is approximately 12 inches. Each weighs approximately 16 ounces. The grips are checkered. There are small cracks in the stocks near the breach. There is fine engraving on the lock, hammer, forend cap, butt cap, and trigger guard. There is an oval mark on the barrel with a figure below it which is believed to be english or french. Both are numbered 345 and a in quite good condition. Along with the guns is a purchase receipt which reads Copenhagen 25 August 1965, 1 pair percussion Pistols ca. 1830 GCastella.
