This model has a 3 inch barrel, stainless slide and frame with the Gray Kimber Pro II finish. The SIS series was manufactured in 2008 through 2009. Kimber produced this model for the LAPDs Special Investigation Section, to meet their unique on the job needs. The barrel is a Kimber match barrel, properly fitted to slide and frame. The trigger pull is clean and crisp, set in the five-pound region, and a solid aluminum trigger. If you look closely, you’ll see that the grooves are a stylized “SIS”.
