I bought this gun as a M1A National Match LOADED, and added/ upgraded to the following:

National Match - with Douglas medium - heavy contour barrel: National Match, air gauged, and button rifled - the best there is. It will stabilize 168gr match bullets.

National match hooded peep rear sight installed by Springfield Armory custom shop, and national match front sight.

Got rid of walnut stock and changed it to laminated stock for all weather capability and no loss of zero with change of humidity.

Action is bedded to receiver, yet remains removable.

Improved Gas cylinder was installed by Smith Enterprises

Bipod Stud was placed in, so you can put a Harris bipod

1 adjustable cheek riser - a must if you want accurate shooting with any optic 1 Smith Enterprises Scope Mount - installed by Smith themselves and they milled the mount to fit this receiver EXACTLY. Dont be fooled by cheaper mounts- its just junk that will get loose after 20 rounds. Smith makes the best scope mounts in the business.

The only reason I'm selling it is because its too heavy for my wife to use, and she wants to shoot 3 gun with a lighter weapon in Heavy Metal division.
