This is the nicest pistol I have ever owned-period,& my camera just doesnt do good close up photos. this is a super limited edition Colt 1908 in 25 Caliber,made in 1921,so its now 91 years old.American Historical Foundation restored this gun & did 100% deep relief coverage scroll engraving,then added the 24k jewelers
grade gold plating,even on the magazine,,then added the real ivory grips,gold screws,& a gold medalion of a coat of arms & 8 small diamonds.its engraved Sam Colt one side & has XXV on the bottom of the magazine,& 25 on the backstrap, & even says colt one front of the barrel & an eagle under that, trigger is engraved,safety,top of slid,rear of slide,trigger guard,backstrap,& the scroll engraving was hand done using hammer & chisel method,& the scroll relief is historically corect for that era & type of pistol.serial # is 290729 its even engraved & gold plated on the barrel with 25 auto,in the ejection port.
