Description:
Here is a well preserved specimen of the 9mm Star Model B, very similar to the Colt 1911. This one’s L1 code dates its manufacture to 1966. It was first issued to the Spanish Guardia, and at some point migrated to the Land of Israel where it served with the Mishteret Y’Israel, the Israeli Civilian Police in Jerusalem District. Serial numbers match on the slide, frame, and safety. Its only alien stamping is an importer stamp on the forward left side of the frame. Barrel and slide are 5 inch Colt Government length. Sights are stake-on half moon low profile front and matching dovetailed blue steel rear combat type. Extractor is housed completely internally to the slide, located in right rear serrated area, as the photos show. Safety setup is main safety only for cocked-and-locked carry, with no grip safety or magazine safety. Quite often, a Star B has to have its hammer firmly all the way back to go into cocked-and-locked mode. The Star safety, however, will engage with the hammer in resting position. Frame’s mainspring housing area is integral to the frame, not removable, with checkered serrations. Magazine is factory Star. Capacity is 9 rounds, 8 + 1. Caliber is 9mm Parabellum, 9mm Luger, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Weight empty is 37 ounces, and weight and dimensions are very similar to the Colt 1911 Government Pistols. Grip panels are black checkered replacement wood. On this specimen, Surface detractions are only moderate: principally dark toning on the forward left side of the slide and on the front and back straps of the grip frame, with edge whitening. We rate this specimen as Good, 70 percent vicinity by our estimate; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean and excellent, and the trigger pull is a stiff but crisp 7 pound vicinity with negligible felt creep. We’re offering this very attractive, eminently serviceable and collectable Spanish-Israeli Star Spain 9mm Model B Pistol for only $ 349.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, Maryland, or Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
