This is an EXCELLENT condition Marlin Model 39 Lever Action in .22s,l,or lr. This is an early PRE WAR gun with a 4-digit serial number, #25XX with NO PREFIX. The gun has an octagon barrel with tube mag, opens sights, takedown, case hardened receiver and lever, S-shaped pistol grip stock, and bluing on barrel, forend tip, mag tube, bolt, hammer, and screws. The stock is of the fancier 2X quality walnut and has the hard rubber buttplate. The case color is unbeleivable on this gun. I would say the gun is 96% overall with just some minor stock and barrel scratches and a little wear on the hammer. The tip of the muzzle has a little discoloration as well. The bore is excellent and the gun doesn't look like it has been shot much at all. This gun is very rare to find in this good of original condition. I hope the pictures will do it justice. This would be a great addition to any collection.

Cashiers check or money order accepted.
