This listing is for One set of grips; buyers, however, may take any extras we have at the same per-set price and with no additional shipping charges. Here are some brand new Colt factory grips with Colt logo that are collectable in their own right from their exotic configuration and coloration. They are labeled red, but we classify them as more of a strawberry taffy coloration, since our photographer is always thinking about food. Both panels are extended top and bottom, for slide protection and sure-feeding magazine insertion, not to mention sure gripping. If anyone wants to use them on any other pistols, their screw hole centers on the grip frame should measure a dead 3 inches between their centers in the grip frame. These will not fit compact 1911s like the MC-1 Detonics or Colt Officer sizes. They will not fit Star or Llama pistols. They will not fit the keyboard of a Baby Grand Piano. They will only fit standard size grip frame 1911 Government Pistols or their Full Grip Frame Commander type siblings, manufactured not only by Colt, but also by Armscor, Auto Ordnance, Detonics, Kimber, Norinco, Para Ordnance, Sig, and many others. These grips will NOT fit 1911 Pistols with ambidextrous safeties, or with extended safety levers. These are just pliable enough to grip well during protracted firing sessions, with 90 percent stippled-feeling but good looking checkering patterns. We estimate that these were manufactured some time during the 1990s, but they are all brand new. One photo shows them installed on a CO Arms special edition nickel .45 pistol; and they are just soft enough for easy fitting work on their interior surfaces.
