It is not one of the mass produced issues. This is the actual issue to the USMC. Has the sanded finish not the semi gloss making this a rare issue. It is New and Unfired. The USMC has asked Colt to no longer produce this model and Colt has agreed. They are no longer in production. This was ordered 1 1/2 years ago and recently came in. It is the identical USMC standard issue 1911 45 caliber and will become even more rare than they are now. 100% original and NIB under Colt factory warranty. Some came in the Pelican case, this issue obviously did not. I had to Google it to be sure it was the real deal. It is and they are shown as this was issued from factory. My last one..
