By our poor memory, Remington began packaging its center fire rifle ammunition with Styrofoam inner containers around 1966 or 1967. Winchester followed suit more slowly, of course. This listing is for up to four boxes of immaculate LBJ-era Remington Cartridges, caliber .30-30 Winchester, 170 grain Soft Point. The box in the photos is one of the four available, the other three are carefully bubble-wrapped just like we got them from one of our best Carolina Collector friends. Cases are bright and clean, this ammo has been kept carefully and kept dry. Boxes are in Excellent Condition, as the photos show. This is viable ammunition, of course, but a person can get plenty to shoot from us for considerably less money. This ammunition is eminently collectable, especially for owners of 1960s and 70s era Pre-Lock Marlins, Winchester Commemoratives, Top Eject Winchesters, and even Pre-1964 Winchesters.
