Both barrel sets show excellent blue with very slight silvering around the muzzle. The bores are all excellent, very bright and shiny. The undecorated frame has excellent blue with some silvering at the edges. The pistol grip stock and splinter forearm are from a superior piece of dark California walnut with swirling feathercrotch grain throughout and a high gloss liquid finish. The checkering is in the Winchester pattern and is sharp and crisp with no visible wear. According to the Cody Museum, this gun was built as a set in 1948. It comes in a leather, Parker Reproduction case with canvas travel cover. Accessories include a two piece cleaning rod, nickle plated snap caps and oil bottle and the case keys.
