Up for sale is this Model 88 Winchester chambered in 284 caliber. As you can see, this one is in pre-64 configuration with hand-cut checkered stock. The blue remains at 98% throughout with the only noteable handling mark being a small rub mark on the underside of the barrel most likely acquired from sitting in a gun safe. The wood is in as good or better shape with no remarkable handling marks that I can see. Also of note is the extra figure in this stock. Probably the most eye appealing stock I have encountered on a model 88. The rifle is perfectly sound, wood and metal, with a mint bore and is factory original throughout.
