This early Winchester Model 1886 was made in 1894 and is an antique; it is chambered for the .45-90 WCF cartridge and is in fine shape for its age. The old action is still smooth, the wood shows some handling marks but no serious defects, the bluing on the barrel and magazine tube are very good, the receiver, lever and hammer still retain some of their original case colors in the more sheltered areas. Best of all the bore is excellent and it will make a fine shooter.
