SS# 965xxx From a mid-west estate sale a 1943 dated General Motors Inland paratroopers carbine 30 cal. with a belt, canteen, bayonet, four Korean War photos, brass photo holder and a Korean bank note. The wood is in good condition with no cracks or chips, however there are several dents and dings from war use and there appears to have been a field repair to the folding stock(see photos). The magazine has the correct stamp to be original issue with an Inland carbine. The metal butt plate folds and the stock folds, unfolds and functions perfectly. I have not taken this gun apart therefore I don't know if the internal parts match however the receiver and barrel are both marked Inland. The metal finish appears to be in excellent condition with normal war time wear (see photos). I am not a collector or an expert and know very little about this type of gun (therefore I took photos of every mark or stamp I could find on the outside of the gun but don't know how to take it apart). This carbine has a nice, shootable, bore (I have not cleaned this gun). This gun is in perfect working condition and should be a lot of fun to shoot. The combat belt, canteen and bayonet all look original to my untrained eye and are period dated. The photo holder is solid brass and is very heavy.
