Here are Mec Gar 9 round magazines to fit any Colt Government Size Pistol chambered in .38 Super Caliber. Mec Gar magazines, write the factory technicians, are constructed from certified carbon steel and feature a heat treated housing and a hi-impact polymer or certified carbon steel follower and floorplate. The surface is specially treated to ensure high corrosion resistance. This magazine will only fit a 1911 type Single Action Semi-Auto Pistol chambered in 38 Super caliber. Colt Models include Government and Commander, all variants with a full length grip frame. They will work just fine in the Taurus PT1911 Pistols chambered in .38 Super. These magazines are just what the doctor ordered for the Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 1911 in .38 Super. They Will Not work in a .45 Automatic; Will Not Work in a 9mm; Will Not Work in a Sig P220 .38 Super; Will Not Work in an EAA Witness; Will Not Work on the valve of a 19th Century Italian Bidet.
