The K8 Stainless has a 416 stainless steel 20 inch bull barrel, 6 grooves, right hand 1x9 twist, button rifled, heavy barrel with aluminum alloy forend that allows the barrel to free float for superior accuracy. The upper receiver features A3 flattop, dust cover, and shell deflector. The Upper and Lower Receiver made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum. The Lower Receiver feature semi-auto trigger group, aluminum trigger guard, and aluminum magazine release button. The stock is a standard A2 black Zytel with trap door assembly. The handguards are aluminum ribbed with free float tube. Type is gas operated semi-automatic rifle, AR-15 / M-16 family; standard trigger; lever safety; overall length 38.4 inches; weight empty 8.5 pounds. Notice the full length Picatinny or Weaver Type rail on the receiver, and the 3 slot picatinny gas block instead of a conventional front sight. Scope is not included, but we have FM Brand 6x18 with Target knobs only $50 additional with gun purchase. The stainless barrel makes the accuracy-destroying chrome liner unnecessary, so this rifle will outshoot anybody’s chrome bore. Note that we are including 10 brand new Thermold 20 shot magazines from the company that made polymer magazines respectable. The Thermolds represent a $200 value. That yields a total of Eleven magazines, counting the included Factory 30 rounder. Replacement pricing on the Colt CR6724 with two magazines is upwards of $1500 apiece.
