Browning Superposed Exhibition 28ga. - ANGELO BEE CREATION, WOW!

The Browning Superposed has always had a devoted following. By the 1970's Browning realized there was no profit in keeping the gun in production. Beginning in 1977, the Superposed was offered as custom order in the Presentation series, and later in the 1980's as the B-25. The Presentation guns were ornate, but the hand engraving of years past was replaced with acid etching for all but the top grade, the P4, which was entirely hand engraved by FN master engravers. This fine Superposed, sn2881 F69, was created by Angelo Bee and his team of ex-FN factory employees. Angelo Bee is a world renowned engraver, known first as a Belgium Browning engraver and now as a custom gun engraver from Southern California. Vintage Firearms is privileged to offer a number of Angelo's creations of fine Browning Superposed Custom Grades. Angelo utilizes past FN/Browning employees for the creation of these masterpieces, so these are true Browning with some of the work done in Belgium, some in Angelo's shop in California. With only a handful of 28 ga. high grade guns produced by Browning, owning a Superposed of this quality would be near impossible if it weren't for Angelo. Best of all, Angelo guns have all of the best options and the finest workmanship. Angelo's work will continue to be highly desirable and increase in value, ranking as a quality investment vessel for your estate.

The 26 1/2" barrels have mirror bores, 99% blue, SK/SK, bore diameter .544 both barrels, no pits or scratches, 2 3/4" chambers, no dents, barrels tight on breech face and hinge pin like a new gun, file cut rib, raised gold inlays on breech end of barrels, gorgeous!

The action is finished black, with 4 different colors of gold inlaid to create fabulous game scenes, with a total of 9 engraved raised gold birds, raised gold flowers and vines are found on the top and bottom tangs and all 3 sides of the receiver, long tang round knob, action tight with lever right of center, strong well timed ejectors, crisp Single Selective Trigger, trigger guard 100% blue, perfect screws, a TRUE WORK OF ART SIGNED BY ANGELO BEE, in perfect, as new mechanical order.

The exhibition Turkish walnut stock is deep carved at the wrist and forend, checkering as new, perfect oil finish, perfect wood to metal fit, 1/2 round pistol grip with slim Schnabel forend, 14 1/8" LOP to skip line checkered butt (even the butt screws have gold wire inlays!), 2 1/8" drop at heel, 1 1/2" drop at comb, 3/8" cast off, no splits, cracks, or repairs. Browning guys like wood and this is some of the best!

This masterpiece weighs 6lbs. 9oz. and balances dead on the hinge pin. We can have the stock bent to your specs within 14 days of purchase should you so choose. Angelo Bee's work has become highly sought after and is sure to grow in value as you enjoy your shooting pleasure chasing quail, woodcock, grouse, or the wiley clay target!
