1891 P. Wernig Damascus XSX 16 ga Barrel length 29 3/4", left side is smooth bore and right side is rifled. Left side is inscribed "NICHT FUR KUGGEL" which translate roughly to "not for ball" 5 proof marks(pics available if interested)stamped on the underside which indicate rifle was made in Ferlach, Austria made approximately 1891. Top of barrel is inscribed "GESELLSCHAFT P. WERNIG FERLACH" translates to 'society of P Wernig gunmakers" Rifle is in very good condition but break action is a little loose.
