Custom Black Powder Silhouette rifle built in 1999 from an original Winchester action with single set trigger chambered in 38-50 Remington. This rifle was built by Ron Snover using a 28.5” #3 half round, half octagon Shillon barrel with a 12” twist and .375 bore. Beautiful Case color by Don Menk. Beautiful American black walnut Winchester Special Sporting butt stock with cheek piece, pistol grip and shotgun butt with rubber recoil pad, ebony forearm tip and checkering by Steve Tucker. Mike Stevens Winchester front globe, Dempsey Milton long range vernier tang sight and RCBS dies included.

This lightweight rifle was built after I suffered a broken arm in an accident and hoped I could shoot a lighter weight silhouette rifle off hand. Never really got serious about BPCRS after the accident.
