This Md. 24/52C Mauser rifle in Cal. 8/m/m is a Yugoslavian rework of the Czechoslovakian built vz24 rifle. These Czechoslovakian manufactured vz24 rifles were some of the best quality Mausers ever produced. In 1944 the Yugoslavian army seized large quantities of vz24 Mauser rifles. After WWII they received more from Germany in reparation. All vz24 rifles went through the rework process and came out the "Md. 24/52C". All 24/52C rifles were originally Czech built. The C stamped after the 52 denotes Czech manufacture. This Md. 24/52C rifle has all stamped matching numbers on the bolt, receiver, floor plate and stock(stock is forced matched). Metal blue is 97+%. Stock has the normal handling/storage marks. Bore appears new bright with sharp lands. Bolt and bolt race ways are in the white. The metal arsenal inventory tag is still attached to the trigger guard. Rifle was sealed in protective Cosmoline when it was acquired. Can be purchased on a Curio and Relic ffl.
